Merchant & Maker is a family-owned & operated local café located in Dunsborough, known for serving high-quality homemade dishes and freshly prepared meals. We are seeking a full-time Cook to join our team.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including breakfast, lunch, and other menu items
Ensuring consistency in quality, presentation, and taste
Managing inventory and ingredients for daily production
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Collaborating with the café team to develop new recipes and seasonal menu items
Adhering to food safety standards and hygiene practices
Skills Required for the Position
Proven experience as a Cook
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and ingredients
Ability to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
Creativity and passion for developing new dishes
Efficient time management and ability to work under pressure
Annual remuneration for the position is $66,000 + superannuation.
The position is located in Dunsborough (WA), and the successful applicant will be required to live in the WA Southwest region.
